East 63rd Street: 3/8/16
Instructor: Emily T.
Today was International Women’s Day, and we celebrated hard. Emily constructed a playlist of pure girl power. It was empowering!
I can jam to Beyoncé anytime, but when her songs are played in a Soul class, I have a blast. The class was non-stop; we grabbed our water on the road and kept the energy up. You could tell that everyone was into it, five minutes in and the mirrors had already fogged up.
Emily was a bright light in the dark room. She illuminated with joy and love for what the room held. Riders absorbed it, and together we felt unstoppable.
Everyone at E 63rd rocked. They were so kind, especially their manager Devon. It’s typical for the staff to be amazing; they represent a brand that values community. I love having the opportunity to meet all these people because they are all so genuine and show an obvious love for SoulCycle.
Now off to get some dinner…
